Dalesdown is a popular Christian, Conference & Activity Centre set in the heart of the Sussex countryside, with beautiful views over the South Downs National Park.
The Dalesdown Centre is modern and well equiped and is well used by a variety of groups from all over London & South East England who come here to take time away from the hectic every day treadmill of life to relax, have fun and grow together in a peaceful and fun environment.
- We have fourteen modern, comfortable bedrooms. Sleeping up to 64 guests
- Versatile meeting rooms seating up to 100 persons
- Modern Conference & PA facilities including an interactive whiteboard available at Dalesdown
- Parking for up to 40 cars
- Disabled toilet facilities onsite
- Fully equipped self catering facilities with state of the art dishwasher
- 8 acres of land including adventure trail, full size football pitch & crazy golf
- As well as a small shop with toys, gifts, toiletries & sweets and a small selection of Children’s work resources
Inside Dalesdown, the conference room seats up to 100 persons and has a built in PA system with a Promethean Interactive Whiteboard suitable for all the latest training methods. linking to your own laptop this also doubles up as a PowerPoint & Video projector. The whiteboard also runs SMART Board presentations.
The dining area and lounge are comfortable and well equipped and also have stunning views over the local countryside.
Outside there is room to have fun, play sports, let off steam, have a bonfire, or even take time to visit our labyrinth to take time out to contemplate and pray, away from the business of the centre and life!
Dalesdown is ideally located in central West Sussex for catered team building days for Social Services, NHS Trusts, Schools’ in-service days and many other users. With a quiet, peaceful environment, with stunning views over the South Downs National Park the Dalesdown Centre is an ideal location for training and enthusing your department or school staff.
We host all of the following: youth camps, children’s camps, sports & activities camps; church weekends away for families, youth or children; training days & team building days; primary & secondary school camps & National Curriculum study and in-service days; mother & toddler retreats, missionary society retreats, University CU retreats; youth worker training events; the activities are only limited by your imagination!
