Dalesdown

Dalesdown is a Christian Camping Conference & Training Centre set on the top of a hill with stunning views over the South Downs of Sussex.  The centre is modern and well equiped and is used by a variety of groups who come here to take time away from the hectic every day treadmill of life to relax, have fun and grow together in a peaceful and fun environment. 

With room to accommodate large groups indoors and out there is space and time to do what you want to do and to be where you want to be.  The limit to how the centre is used is your imagination. 

What do you get?

When you book Dalesdown your group gets exclusive use of the centre for your entire stay.  We give you the keys and a comprehensive set of instructions and then it's over to you! 

We are a self catering establishment with a well equiped kitchen and a dishwasher to die for!  But if you wish we can also supply details of local caterers who can support your stay here. 

How did we get here?

Built in 1966 as a centre for training young people to work in the Kibbutz in Israel, it later became a boys' preparatory school.  Derelict and battered by the great storm of 1987, Dalesdown was purchased in 1991 by Family Foundations Trust Ltd through the generosity of the Laing Trust.

Thereafter it has been a story of God's moving and promting of indiviuals to give their time, their talents and their finances to make this centre what it is today, a blessing and a great resource for many.
