We have now launched our Thanksgiving Appeal as part of our celebrations to mark 20 years of work at Dalesdown

THANKSGIVING CELEBRATION
We were absolutely delighted to welcome more than 100 new and old friends to Dalesdown on 20th November for our 20th Anniversary Thanksgiving Celebration. An excellent event in the Sellwood Centre, with presentations from:
- current and past staff (including Alex and Liz Parsons, and Bern and Wendy Downton);
- Tony Sage from Chessington Evangelical Church who have used the Centre over many years;
- Directors past and present including Paul Voke, former Chair of Trustees;
- and a host of others.
An excellent 'afternoon tea' was served up in the Dining Room of the Main Centre under the supervision and direction of Judi Southcombe.
Loads of hard work from too many people to mention made the day a success, and we're really grateful to the 100 visitors who braved a very foggy afternoon to join with us as we look forward to the next 20 years!

Band Concert - Sunday 16th October
On Sunday 16th October 2011 we were delighted that Ashington Parish Church presented a fundraising concert in support of Dalesdown.
We are really grateful to everyone who attended and especially to the Sussex Concert Band of the Royal British Legion for their support in this event.

Petanque at Dalesdown...
You can now play Petanque at dalesdown. What is Petanque? You may know it as 'boule'. The older teenagers at the Dalesdown Camps 2011 helped to build a Petanque pitch close to the new Sellwood Centre, and this means that you can pretend you are in France and play Petanque as the sun sets over Pothill Farm.....
