The Big Dig

 Building Work Underway

The decision to build has been taken and the builders are now on site digging out the foundations for the Sellwood Sports Hall and the attached classroom. Needless to say it is really encouraging to see the men at work getting on with the job of turning our vision into a reality.

I have been down to the site with my camera a couple of times now and here are some images of the progress to date:

Shame we didn't have this for the cricket match on the fund raising day in the summer. If the pitch was flatter I might not have been out third ball  (ed)

The clay must go somewhere and it now helps to shore up our football pitch.

Right up to date. The concrete is in the footings and we are nearly ready for the steel frame.
