We’re always looking for new members for our maintenance volunteers team, who meet at Dalesdown every Wednesday to help keep the grounds and buildings looking great. We’re also looking for volunteers to help us with occasional help to support administration, help with fundraising, and helping us to deliver key events.

 

As a volunteer at Dalesdown you join a very supportive team of Christian people who work to provide an excellent facility for visitors.

Could you spare a few hours either weekly or occasionally to help out at Dalesdown?

​

The Dalesdown team are looking to expand its volunteers in the following areas:

​

• Grounds and building maintenance – weekly on a Wednesday

• Kitchen assistants:

  • Cooking – weekly cooking of 80-90 meals for a local charity supporting vulnerable families on a Thursday morning

  • Lunch preparation for day events on an ad-hoc basis

• Christian teaching and speaking at day events on an ad-hoc basis

• Christian worship leading at day events on an ad-hoc basis

• Christian prayer ministry at day events on an ad-hoc basis

• Organisation of fundraising events
